Post Name : Village Administrative Officer (VAO)

Qualification : Candidates should have done General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C (Matriculation – 10th Class) Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies. Candidates should possess knowledge of Tamil.

Age Limit : Age should be 21 years. age relaxation is applicable as per rules

Pay scale : PB-1 Rs.5,200 -20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2,400/-

Exam Fee : Rs.150/- (Exam Fee Rs.100/- + Cost of Application Rs.50/-). Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost. Those who have registered in the one time registration system and paid the registration fee of Rs.50/- and received the registration ID need not pay the application fee for a period of 5 years from the date of registration even if he applies for any other posts, subsequently notified by the Commission.

Selection Process : Selection proces will be based on written exam and interview.

Eligibility Criteria For Tamil Nadu VAO Exam 2014

Qualification for VAO Exam 2014 :- Candidates who are interested they should have completed S.S.L.C Public Examination or it's equivalent with eligibility for admission to higher secondary courses of studies. and participants also required knowledge of Tamil language .

Application fees TNPSC VAO Exams :- Candidates required to pay some amount as application fees Rs. 125/- (Exam fees - Rs. 75/- and Cost of application Rs. 50/-) for Pre exams and For VAO Main Exams again required to pay Rs. 125/- as fees .

Note :- Application Fees will be paid through Online and Offline mode by using Net banking or Via Credit or Debit Card And while paying fees in Offline mode you should have to Pay fees in form of VAO exam Challan Form at any of Indian Bank branch or Post office .

during the currency of a recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for Interview etc. to the
registered e-mail ID.
